Stable Isotope Lab

We have a MAT 252 stable isotope ratio mass spectrometer and a Delta V Plus. The lab can analyze carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur isotopes by combustion, oxygen isotopes of sulfate by pyrolysis, and carbon and oxygen of carbonates by acidification.

Please contact Bill Gilhooly for more information about analyzing samples. We are happy to collaborate and develop new project ideas.
